Kew Gardens

The study of plant life through endless diagrams of plants cells can be a rather joyless and off-putting experience, so inject some life back into the study of plants with this exciting Experience at Kew Gardens. Our mentor will demonstrate to your child how plants are adapted to different climates – something that Kew Gardens is uniquely suited to, with the Palm House and the Prince of Wales Conservatory housing plants from almost every climate imaginable. Children always enjoy the treetop walkway, as it offers not only great views of the canopy, but the surrounding landscape. This is an Experience that will invigorate an interest in Science and horticulture.

A Clarendon Inspires mentor will arrive at the pick up address to give your children an Inspire session and drop your children off at the drop off address, where they will also give a Build session. Clarendon Inspires believes that it is important to invigorate the body, as well as the mind, so each Experience includes some activity time in the park (weather permitting).
