National Maritime Museum

This stunning museum is a fantastic blend of modern digital presentations and games, combined with a wealth of treasures which allow children to immerse themselves in Britain’s naval history. We will select a number of the best exhibits for your child to explore across 4 galleries: Pacific encounters, Polar worlds, Tudor and Stuart seafaring and Horatio Nelson’s career. As an additional extra, stepping onto the Cutty Sark and re-living life on a tea clipper is an unforgettable experience. Situated in Greenwich, there are a number of transport options, including getting a boat down the Thames.

A Clarendon Inspires mentor will arrive at the pick up address to give your children an Inspire session and drop your children off at the drop off address, where they will also give a Build session. Clarendon Inspires believes that it is important to invigorate the body, as well as the mind, so each Experience includes some activity time in the park (weather permitting).

Being there with Amory, Felix and Matthew; witnessing their enthusiasm and appreciation for such a day has only reinforced my belief that if children can be inspired by the people they meet and places they see, ‘learning’ is no longer hard work.

Amazing! Our 2 boys had a brilliant day with their mentor. They took a boat down the river Thames before exploring the Maritime Museum and Cutty Sark. When they got home, they were excited and loaded with information.
