The Old Operating Theatre Museum
Climbing the narrow, winding staircase to the Old Operating Theatre Museum is like stepping back in time. The Museum is a perfect blend of absorbing and macabre. If your child is of a curious and intrepid nature, then this is the Experience for them. Not only is this gem of a museum filled with all sorts of curiosities – Victorian remedies, organs in jars and grizzly amputation implements – but it is also the perfect place to inspire an interest in medicine and surgery. Our mentors may just help inspire your child on their first steps in a life long career.
A Clarendon Inspires mentor will arrive at the pick up address to give your children an Inspire session and drop your children off at the drop off address, where they will also give a Build session. Clarendon Inspires believes that it is important to invigorate the body, as well as the mind, so each Experience includes some activity time in the park (weather permitting).
