About the Experience
This Experience will be led by Emma whose love for art was ignited at school and further developed whilst working at Christie’s.
Emma will guide your child round a handpicked selection of works, allowing your child to explore the rich history of British art.
This Experience aims to spark creativity and foster a lasting appreciation for the visual arts.
Art appreciation and interpretation
Emma will use selected artworks to illustrate the main principles of visual analysis, considering scale, composition, colour, subject matter and technique.
Finding personal connection
Emma will encourage your child to find a personal connection with the art by thinking about how the artist was inspired by their context to develop their personal artistic style.
Considering curation
Emma will help your child to consider how exhibitions are put together and how your child might do it differently.

Bio: I’m interested in a wide range of culture and enjoy making the most of everything on offer in London (I’ve lived here my whole life!) from our incredible galleries and theatres to football matches. For the last two years, I worked as a Graduate Trainee at Christie’s, a historic international auction house, and I’d love to be able to impart my passion for art onto some young minds!
